Went in to have a headlight bulb replaced on my 2007 Toyota Prius and was pleasantly surprised at both the speed of the work and the price! I have now found my new favorite Castro Valley auto shop!
This shop goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. I took in my 2003 Subaru wrx to get serviced last week. A long list of repairs were overdue, and there was smoke coming from the engine because oil was leaking from the valve cover gasket. They performed a 120k tuneup and replaced my spark plugs, water pump, tensioners, timing belt and fixed the oil leak. Larry and Lien are very professional and trustworthy mechanics. Lien went out of his way and fixed my wobbly drivers seat and replaced my fog lights without charge.
If I could give 10 stars I would! Had a couple of problems with my Dodge Magnum and when I told Lien what was going on, he took the time to listen and also give me his advice. This is a very trustworthy establishment. He kept in contact with me the whole time. Gave me details on what what going on with my car and also asked me first before he performed any work. All I told him was go ahead and fix it because I need reliable transportation with my 8 month old son. I am so glad I found a reliable place for all of my vehicle needs. It's local and very reasonable and like another yelper mentioned, I don't feel cheated. Larry's Auto has gained another faithful satisfied customer. I will be returning! Thanks Lien, Larry and the rest of the staff that worked on my car!!
Happy to have a really great mechanic in our neighborhood. Larry and his staff are really nice to work with and I feel confident I'm treated fairly. Very reasonable.
